New Blog

On the new Blog located at http://mailartprojects.blogspot.com/ several mail-artists will enter their projects. It is a self-publishing event there. If you would like to be a contributor there as well, just send an e-mail to info at iuoma.org and I will add you to the BLOG. The complete blog will become a digital publication of a list with mail-at projects. At the moment already 11 contributors. But I am sure it will grow quickly.

Recently I made some brochures about my views concerning mail-art. I also published them online. See www.iuoma.org and go to the section where I mention the UPDATES of just go to the list of TAM-PUBLICATIONS to fins the link. The new files are PDF files which I also circulate in printed format.

Guess what..... Yes, I have started a new interview with somebody out there. The interview is in progress and when the results are ready the booklet will be published. Since I am very interested in the roots of Fluxus I am happy to say I am now interviewing one of the 'founding members'. More info soon....

Still have plenty of these booklets available here. Printed by The Sticker Dude in New York, the interview with Guy Bleus by Ruud Janssen. Available for the postage-costs only(inside Europe $2 , outside Europe $3).

In 1996 these newsletters of the TAM Rubberstamp Archive were sent out (edition of over 200). The text of this newsletter is also in the latest CD that documents the archive as well. It was especially made because of the exhibition in Moscow last year. 

New CD published of the TAM Rubberstamp Archive

The CD of the exhibition at the L-Gallery in Moscow, Russia is ready. The CD contains lots of information about the TAM Rubberstamp Archive, including scans of the sheets by the artists that sent in, the posters, the catalogue and even a video made of all the works inside the exhibition. The catalogue is available on request. Ask for details.

Overview of IUOMA membership cards

A card designed by Sean Woodworth (an IUOMA-member in the UK). He used a logo from tyhe iuoma-site as basis. Some logos of the past can be found at the site www.iuoma.org/iuoma.html . The fun is that the forms keep changing. When a new member makes a new card it will be used as well. If it is sent to me I will even publish it, and other members can decide which card they like. The card you can print and send in to the IUOMA. It will be returned after signing. And if I don't get too many, the signed version will be published on my blog.

The FIRST IUOMA MAGAZINE that got published in June 1991. An edition of 300 , size A4, and about 40 pages doublesided.

For my 25th year active in mail-art I am working on a few publications that will see the light somewhere in this year. As soon as they are ready I will let you know on this BLOG.

The catalogue of the African project "End Racism/Ethnic Hatred" done by Ayah Okwabi, Ghana. TAM-Publications sponsored the project by printing & distributing the catalogue. The layout was done by Ayah. - July 1996.
